Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm PH Time
Salary: Php 60,000.00

Job Description for Mortgage Broker Assistant (with Post-Settlement Experience)

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Broker Assistant to support an Australian mortgage brokerage. This role covers the full mortgage process, from preparing applications to assisting clients after settlement.

Responsibilities:
Client & Broker Support

• Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering basic inquiries

• Assist brokers with scheduling, email management, and follow-up communication

• Help clients gather and complete loan application requirements
Application Preparation

• Prepare and package mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and lender compliance

• Enter client data into CRM and loan processing systems (Broker Engine is preferred but similar platforms i.e., Mercury, Infinity is acceptable)

• Order supporting documents such as credit reports, valuations, or verification forms

• Track application status and ensure brokers are updated at every stage
Post-Settlement Support

• Provide ongoing support to clients after loan settlement

• Send Loan Repayment Summaries and manage annual review processes

• Organize fixed-rate rollovers, loan variations, and pricing requests

• Liaise with clients and lenders for discharge requests, switches, or refinance inquiries
Administrative & Documentation Tasks

• Maintain digital files, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and update client CRM profiles

• Follow up on outstanding documentation and lender conditions

• Prepare monthly reports on post-settlement activities (fixed rate expiries, retention opportunities)

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Mortgage Broker Assistant, ideally in the Australian lending industry

• Familiarity with the end-to-end loan process, including post-settlement tasks

• Proficient in using mortgage platforms such as BrokerEngine (preferred), Infinity, Mercury, or similar

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

• Clear and professional communication in English, both written and spoken

• Able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

• A team player who values accuracy, accountability, and excellent client service
