Senior Laboratory Technician

Ayala Alabang, National Capital Region, Philippines Towako Repro Bio Cell Inc. (Kato Repro Biotech Center) Full time ₱360,000 - ₱420,000 per year

a) Supervise and mentor laboratory technicians to ensure accurate and efficient completion of experiments and daily tasks

b) Oversee lab procedures including but not limited to sample preparation, blood separation, nucleic acid extraction, oral mucosal single-cell picking, basic analysis and judgment of Sanger sequencing results, single-cell whole genome amplification, SNP locus PCR amplification, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) library construction and sequencing

c) Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality control standards

d) Review experimental results and laboratory reports for accuracy and completeness before submission

e) Manage and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, and ensure sufficient inventory of reagents and consumables to meet operational needs

f) Coordinate with clients for sample validations, platform setup, and technical support

g) Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all laboratory samples, experiments, and results

h) Train new laboratory personnel and support ongoing development of existing staff

i) Collaborate with the Lab Manager to implement improvements, address client feedback, and support laboratory planning and execution

j) Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lab Manager or company leadership

Job Requirements:

a) Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field

b) At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a molecular or NGS laboratory

c) Prior experience in supervising or managing laboratory personnel is preferred

d) Proficient in operating molecular experiments such as NGS, PCR, and single-cell analysis

e) Professional in Filipino and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus

f) Experience in laboratory management, including equipment maintenance and inventory control

g) Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-oriented mindset

h) Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
