Position: Securities Operations Director (BGC) | Onsite

Work Arrangement: Onsite at BGC Taguig

Schedule: Night shift

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Professional FINRA licenses such as Series 99 are a plus
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Securities Operations within Banking Operations, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role (Director level or higher)
  • Strong knowledge of the securities lifecycle, Money Movement, SWIFT messaging, and market infrastructures (e.g., DTCC, NSCC)
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools
  • Familiarity with automation, RPA, AI, and digital transformation initiatives in Operations


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise experienced managers and specialized management teams
  • Lead organization-wide initiatives of moderate to high complexity involving cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify strategies for process improvements and risk mitigation within security operations
  • Make strategic decisions to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with high-risk deliverables
  • Develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate to high complexity
  • Collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels, including managers
  • Drive the team to meet objectives
  • Oversee resource allocation, including personnel and financials, within Securities Operations
  • Foster a culture focused on talent development aligned with business goals and strategies
