Tax Compliance Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Compliance Assistant to support the company's regulatory and tax compliance requirements. The role involves assisting in the renewal of business permits, and processing SEC and BIR-related documents, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all statutory obligations in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing and monitoring the renewal of business permits, mayor's permits, and other local government requirements
  • Support the preparation, submission, and compliance of BIR-related documents such as registration updates, certifications, and other tax filings
  • Coordinate with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for corporate filings, updates, and renewals
  • Help maintain accurate and organized financial and accounting records in accordance with bookkeeping standards
  • Assist in daily accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and documentation
  • Prepare basic sales, collection, and disbursement reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Help ensure compliance with internal controls and proper documentation of financial transactions
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies to ensure that all regulatory requirements and deadlines are properly met

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related accounting course
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in tax compliance, accounting, or bookkeeping is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with BIR and SEC compliance processes is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP or other accounting systems is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php14, Php17,000.00 per month
