Assistant Tax Manager

· Responsible for all tax matters concerns

· Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations

Tax compliance and reporting

  • Manage/review compliance on monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting on VAT, Withholding Taxes, Corporate income tax, ensuring that reporting is done on timely manner to avoid tax penalties.

  • Maintain tax schedules, reconciliations and working papers on a monthly basis

  • Perform monthly internal tax assessment and reconciliations to confirm tax compliance and provide opportunity to rectify areas of non-compliance at an early stage.

  • Manages tax reporting and advises on tax planning for a company.

Tax Audits

· Manage tax audits and point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors

· Manage statutory audits with external auditors

· Manage documentation as required by BIR LOA

· Prepare reply to notices and protests letter

Ad hoc projects

· Lead CAS application of ERP System

· Lead process and systems improvement projects related to tax and compliance

· Lead tax refunds filed with the BIR
