Sr Accountant

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyse annually financial statements/audited accounts for the company and group which includes income statements, balance sheet, cash flow statements and notes to the accounts;

2. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annually reports which includes amongst others, Financial Review Report (Syteline and DEPM), Plato Reporting, etc.;

3. Plan, prepare and analyse forecast, budget and projections;

4. Handle and coordinate both internal and external audits;

5. Ensure that the financial statements prepared are in compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2016 and applicable Financial Reporting Standards in Malaysia i.e. "MFRS";

6. Report budgetary expenses deviation on a monthly basis;

7. Verify, approve and handle daily transactions which includes amongst others, sales invoices, payment vouchers, group accounts code and journal etc.;

8. Attend to other departments and Subsi request for information;

9. Assist the Head of Corporate Finance Department;

10. Ensure deadlines given by the management/ Plato are met;

11. Preparation of regulatory survey and other regulatory application form;

12. Identify and recommend areas for simplification/ work reduction;

13. Any other accounts related duties assigned by the reporting superior and management;

14. Handle and coordinate HSBC online transactions;

15. Maintain & coordinate DEPM office plus & FC for subsidiary financial statement production; and

16. Create customer code, FA code, form factor, industry group, and ultimate customer for subsidiary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php100, Php120,000.00 per month
