Responsible for rendering efficient, safe, quality and excellent nursing care to patients in the Nuclear Medicine Unit that adheres to the Standards of Professional Nursing Practice in the Philippines, Code of Ethics of the Registered Nurses, Patients Bill of Rights, other regulatory and mandatory standards, and laws guided by the hospital's mission, vision, and core values.
- Practices in accordance with the Legal Principles and Code of Ethics in making personal and professional judgment.
- Advocates the Patient's Bill of Rights and Obligations by implementing strategies and interventions to protect Client's rights.
- Utilizes the nursing process in the interdisciplinary care of clients that empowers the clients and promotes safe quality care.
- Performs comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment utilizing appropriate methods and tools in the unit
- Formulates a plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, clients, and families.
- Implements the plan of care to address the healthcare needs of the client utilizing therapeutic strategies and interventions.
- Documents the client's response to the care plan.
- Evaluates and modifies the plan of care to meet expected outcomes.
- Handles a maximum of 3 patients or as determined by the Nursing Service and can be floated to other units within the hospital as the need arises.
- Maintains complete, accurate and up to date recording and reporting system.
- Ensures completeness, accuracy, and safety of information of the client's records by conforming with the documentation standards.
- Adheres to the Data privacy Act and institutional policies in safekeeping and releasing client's records.
- Utilizes the Hospital Information System with competence.
- Establishes collaborative relationships with colleagues and other members of the team to enhance nursing and other health care services.
- Assist the Nuclear Medicine Technologist in assessing and prioritizing admissions at the in the Nuclear Medicine Unit.
- Participates in continuous quality improvement and quality assurance projects and activities
- May be assigned to complete administrative tasks related to the operations of the Nuclear Medicine Unit.
- Other ad hoc tasks and projects that may be assigned
Job Requirements
- BS Nursing graduate with active PRC License (Nurse)
- With at least one (1) year of nursing experience assigned in the Nuclear Medicine Unit.
- With PNA/PONA
- IVT Trained
- Willing to work in Arca South, Taguig City on a rotating/shifting schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
