1. Financial Recording & Reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updating of accounting books (cash receipts, disbursements, sales, purchases, etc.).
2. Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Process and monitor invoices, billing, and payments.
  • Prepare and issue customer billings and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Verify supplier invoices, match with purchase orders, and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Maintain AP/AR aging reports and perform regular reconciliation.
3. Compliance & Government Reporting
  • Prepare and assist in the filing of BIR returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax), SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
4. Payroll Support (if assigned)
  • Assist in computation and processing of payroll.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and government remittances.
  • Maintain employee payroll files and records.
5. Budgeting & Internal Control
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of actual vs. budget expenses.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial data.
6. Administrative & Other Tasks
  • Maintain organized digital and hard-copy financial records.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial concerns.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.
