helloassist is looking for a Social Media Specialist (REMOTE - WFH) who will play a critical role in managing our social media presence and driving engagement across various platforms.

This Social Media Specialist position requires a creative and analytical professional with experience in social media strategy, content creation, and community management. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to develop and implement social media campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and foster relationships with our online community.

We're a small, fast-growing startup on the lookout for versatile team members ready to dive into new skills like optimizing social media strategies and crafting engaging content. You'll be a key player in our core team, driving brand awareness and customer engagement. Success here means thriving under pressure and nailing the details. Important: Please note that this is a passive hiring process, and the role will involve client-facing responsibilities to support the clients of helloassist. Results We Expect:
  • Daily logs on social media activities, engagement metrics, and content performance
  • Weekly summary reports on campaign performance, audience growth, and content reach
  • Monthly audits and updates on social media strategy, competitor analysis, and brand sentiment
  • Reports on any special or ad hoc tasks requested by the client, including task descriptions, progress, and outcomes
  • Updates on project-based tasks or initiatives, including milestones achieved and any issues encountered, as needed

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to customer inquiries
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve social media processes and tools

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working on a Graveyard Shift
  • Experience taking little direction and figuring things out on their own

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the Outsourcing industry or any relevant industries
  • Experience in supporting Startups
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and software such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications (great to have, but not required)
