  • Perform deployment, monitoring, maintenance and support of data infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data operations processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Respond to data related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data issues and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor the performance of data platforms, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions to meet business requirements, including performing complex ad hoc data queries.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to monitor, uphold and improve stability of our Enterprise Data Platforms.
  • Delivers ad hoc requests to the business.
  • They should be able to handle simple issues and problems as to which they should also know how to do the proper escalations.
  • They should be able to use and update our Operations Manual.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years related experience
  • Bachelors Degree holder of any Computer related course.
  • Experience working with SQL required
  • Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms required
  • Experience working with Python is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms preferred (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud)
