I. JOB OBJECTIVES/SUMMARY

A Mechanical Engineer or Facilities Mechanical Engineer, designs, builds and tests various mechanical devices, like industrial machines, transportation systems and robotics equipment. Their main duties include locating problems with various machinery especially Site Equipment and Service Vehicles, conducting monitoring of PHCC Properties on site. Their responsibilities include ensuring the security and availability of all equipment and service vehicles on site. Mechanical Engineer collaborates closely with Operations Team. He will be directly reporting to the SVP-OPM.

II. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A Mechanical Engineer ensures that all mechanical systems work safely and efficiently to meet user needs. Their duties include:

  • Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
  • Designing and developing prototypes
  • Analyzing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
  • Supervising the utilization of Site Equipment and Service Vehicles
  • Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
  • Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
  • Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources
  • Perform other duties assigned by the SVP for Operations and Project Management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience as a data specialist.
  • Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and other mechanical engineering concepts.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Equipment and Vehicles Maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with end-user training and support.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Directly reporting to the SVP-OPM.
