Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

The Opportunity

• Understands, implements, and develops Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to enable future enhancements and ongoing support.
• Implements technical solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet business needs including building campaigns, automations, setting up data views, and other technical configuration projects involving Marketing Cloud.
• Develops solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud data management, scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy), and SQL.
• Develops cross-cloud solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales/Service Clouds.
• Develops solutions leveraging the Salesforce Marketing Cloud API and integration capabilities.
• Executes Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, MobileConnect, Email Studio) or development activities per assigned tasks.
• Able to liaise with business team members to discuss initiatives relating to Marketing Cloud.
• Performs testing, QA and peer reviews of solutions developed in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Supports deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions from test to production environments.
• Provides knowledge transfers and enablement to business team members as required.

Desired Experience

• 8 years' experience as a
  Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
  , with expertise in designing and developing solutions.
• Obtained any of the four Marketing Cloud certifications, with a preference for the Marketing Cloud Developer certification.
• Experienced with marketing technology, capabilities, and vendors in the marketing technology landscape.
• Proficient with AMPscript and SSJS.
• Experience working with the Marketing Cloud SOAP and REST-based APIs.
• Proficient with HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Proficient developing SQL and experience with a RDBMS such as MS SQL Server (preferable), MySQL or Oracle.
• Experience with server-side web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as AJAX, and jQuery.
• Experience working with one or more modern integrated development environments, such as MS Visual Studio.
• Experience working on Journey Builder, Analytics Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, MobileConnect, Email Studio, Web Studio, MC Connect
• Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, with particular emphasis on leveraging data from Sales/Service Clouds in Marketing Cloud for personalisation and dynamic content.
• Good level of documentation.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, and data encryption.
