The EPG Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our collaborative finance team of eight professionals. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting compliance with internal policies, external audits, and taxation requirements.

This is a 100% remote role based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post general ledger journals, including accruals and prepayments
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and proactively address variances
  • Assist with month-end close activities and meet reporting deadlines
  • Lead the completion of audit work for assigned countries, including audit queries, documentation, and financial reports
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate depreciation calculations
  • Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and tax-related requirements
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors; manage year-end compliance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (PH)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and international standards
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in SaaS or managed payroll environments (preferred)
