US JUNIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

Location: Clark/Cebu/Tarlac/Manila

Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime

Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Monday - Friday

About this role. . .

The Junior Tax Accountant supports tax preparation for individuals and businesses under senior guidance. Maintains organized documentation, communicates with U.S. teams to resolve issues, and ensures timely completion of filings. Gains exposure to multi-state and specialized tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare U.S. federal and state individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Communicate regularly with the U.S. team to clarify data, resolve issues, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain organized workpapers and documentation following firm and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with multi-state tax filings or estate & trust tax matters is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years at a minimum preferably supporting a U.S.-based CPA firm.
  • Familiarity with U.S. tax software
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • CPA or EA certification (or plans to obtain) is a plus but not required.
