Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Finance Automation Analyst to support ongoing finance automation initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about process improvement, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and Prioritize Opportunities

  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Help prioritize the automation pipeline based on impact and feasibility
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders, assist in securing buy-in/approvals, and manage expectations

2. Implementation and Maintenance

  • Design, build, test, and implement automation solutions using tools such as Excel, VBA, Microsoft 365 Power Apps, and Tableau
  • Develop user-friendly automation processes to streamline finance operations

3. Data Management

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data within automated tools
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal data governance policies

4. Training and Support

  • Provide training and guidance to Finance team members on newly developed tools
  • Offer ongoing support to resolve any issues and ensure effective tool usage

5. Compliance and Controls

  • Ensure that automated processes comply with applicable regulations and internal policies
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for process transparency

6. Integration & Collaboration

  • Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance Enablement, and external service providers to implement scalable automation solutions
  • Support initiatives that may involve system enhancements or robotic process automation (RPA)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in finance automation, data analytics, or process improvement
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel (including VBA), Power Apps, Tableau, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with RPA tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and data governance policies
