Finance Automation Specialist

- Identify and Prioritize: Work closely with Finance and IT teams to spot automation and process improvement opportunities, prioritize them, engage stakeholders, assist in gaining approvals, and manage their expectations.
- Implementation and Maintenance: Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using tools such as Excel, VBA, Tableau, and Microsoft 365 Power Apps.
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of finance data within automated systems, keeping data current and compliant with regulatory standards and Sun Life policies.
- Training and User Support: Train Finance team members on the effective use of automation tools and provide ongoing assistance to resolve any related issues or questions.
- Compliance and Controls: Guarantee that automated finance processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Integration: Collaborate with PH BU IT, RO IT, Finance Enablement, Corporate Finance Accelerator teams, and external service providers for automation projects that involve system upgrades or robotic process automation (RPA).
