Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or freight forwarding

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with customer service software

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus

  • Experience with freight forwarding software and systems

  • Familiarity with Incoterms and customs clearance procedures

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to understand their shipping needs and provide solutions

  • Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and other parties to arrange and track shipments

  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices

  • Update customers on the status of their shipments and address any issues or delays

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of shipments

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
