Key Responsibilities
The company's portfolio Monitoring Team is seeking an experienced professional to help support their data and reporting function. An ideal candidate will be required to facilitate the Private Equity reporting process to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent data collection and downstream investor reporting.

Quarterly Valuation Workflows

• Validate financial metrics utilized in valuations are contained in source documents.
• Review validations within valuation models versus agreed procedures and flag anomalies for resolution.
• Produce power points from source documents following reoccurring templates.

Monthly Financial Reporting

• Collect monthly reporting from portfolio company finance teams in a timely manner per cadence of quarterly deliverables.
• Perform detailed, thorough review of monthly reporting for accuracy and completeness of information provided, including financial metrics and KPIs vs. other source reporting received.
• Consolidate potential findings effectively to raise for review with internal team ahead of posing questions directly to PortCo/Investment team.
• Utilize portfolio monitoring software system (Chronograph) to upload monthly financials, including reconciliation back to source documents and quality review.
• Prepare deliverables (internal/external) utilizing Chronograph excel add-in, including review and validation.

Other

• Onboarding of new portfolio companies into monitoring software, including designing templates.
• Ad-hoc requests and projects related to portfolio company financial metrics and system upkeep.

Requirements
Job Requirements and Credentials:

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or similar functions (private equity experience preferred)
• Experience with alternative asset management portfolio monitoring software preferred (e.g., Chronograph, iLevel, Cobalt)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow procedures, provide status updates, organize questions, and document work product
• Thorough attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to self-review
• Meticulous organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with knowledge of basic and advanced formulas
• Experience with PowerPoint and producing investor-related deliverables
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
