Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative
Video Editor
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent storytelling skills, and proficiency with modern editing tools. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage, adding graphics, sound, and effects, and delivering polished content aligned with G Productions' standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into cohesive, compelling content for various platforms (film, TV, social media, digital campaigns, corporate projects, etc.).
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and creative teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Enhance video content with appropriate sound design, color grading, graphics, and special effects.
  • Ensure all outputs align with branding guidelines and project requirements.
  • Organize and manage video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia Arts, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role with a strong portfolio/reel.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual composition.
  • Knowledge of audio mixing, color correction, and motion graphics.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with animation or 3D graphics.
  • Knowledge of live production or cinematography.
  • Familiarity with social media content optimization and short-form editing.
