Job Description:

The
Building Engineer
will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

This role requires hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with other facility staff and contractors
.
It oversee and maintain the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of commercial or residential buildings

Key Responsibility:

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with building codes and standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and systems.
  • Supervise contractors, technicians, and service providers for repairs, renovations, and installations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, safety hazards, and tenant service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of tools/materials.
  • Implement energy-saving measures and recommend improvements to increase building efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with property management on budgets, procurement, and project planning.
  • Support capital improvement projects and oversee building upgrades when necessary.

Job Specification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree and with licensed, Engineering (Mechanical).
  • Good interpersonal & business communication skills
  • Honest and can work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Applicants must be willing to work in
    Davao City.
  • Work Schedule:
    Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 AM)
  • 1 Full time position available.
