About the role

Join Orica as a Multimedia Designer

As a Multimedia Designer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting multimedia design projects across our global business. You'll create original artworks, assist the Lead Visual Designer, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our communications and marketing activities. What you will be doing
  • Create Designs: Make original artwork and design pieces, with a focus on video editing and animation, for our visual needs.
  • Work Together: Help the Lead Visual Designer with design projects.
  • Share Ideas: Come up with creative ideas for our design and marketing campaigns.
  • Support Communications: Use your design skills to help with our marketing and communication plans.
  • Keep the Brand Consistent: Make sure all designs follow our brand guidelines.
  • Manage Relationships: Work well with partners and stakeholders, using their feedback in your designs.
  • Team Player: Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Improve Processes: Look for ways to make our design processes better.
What you will bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 
    2+ years in visual design, especially in marketing and communications.
    Strong portfolio with original artwork and successful projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
  • Creative Skills: Strong design principles (typography, color theory, layout), Video editing and animation (2D and 3D), Innovative and creative thinking
  • Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency and adapt designs for global markets.
  • Essential Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, efficient time management, adaptability to different design needs, attention to detail, and proactivity in suggesting improvements
