The Fuel Pricing Analyst will be responsible for monitoring market trends, analyzing pricing strategies, and optimizing pricing models to maximize profitability and market competitiveness for company-owned and retail-operated gas stations.

  • Tracking fuel market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks.
  • Providing reports on market movements and competitor behavior.
  • Updating cost structures and conducting value-added analysis.
  • Developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies based on data and sales targets.
  • Optimizing retail prices to maximize margins and profitability.
  • Recommending dynamic pricing based on demand, geography, volume, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborating with retail and marketing teams on promotional pricing strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with pricing policies and government regulations.
  • Establishing pricing models, dashboards, and management processes for consistent implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three years' experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the fuel or energy sector.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and statistical analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards in the fuel distribution sector is an advantage
