Job Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, systems, or products for clients. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing technical repairs, and ensuring excellent customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair equipment or products at customer sites or company facilities.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide on-site technical support and customer assistance.
  • Test equipment performance to ensure proper functionality.
  • Keep accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned) in good condition.
  • Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Follow company protocols, safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, vocational/technical certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, or schematics.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and willing to travel or work on-site.
