Job Overview:

As a Service Technician at Nissan Valenzuela, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for various Nissan models. You will use your technical expertise to ensure the proper functioning of customer vehicles and uphold the high service standards expected by Nissan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics:

  2. Perform thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

  3. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and recommend necessary repairs.

  4. Maintenance and Repair:

  5. Carry out routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and fluid checks.

  6. Repair or replace faulty parts, including engine components, transmissions, and suspension systems.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services completed.

  8. Customer Service:

  9. Provide customers with clear explanations of the work performed and any additional repairs needed.

  10. Offer expert advice to customers regarding the care and maintenance of their vehicles.

  11. Quality Control:

  12. Ensure that all repairs meet Nissan's high-quality standards.

  13. Perform road tests and quality checks after service completion.

  14. Team Collaboration:

  15. Work closely with the service advisors, parts department, and other technicians to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.

  16. Keep up to date with Nissan's latest technical service bulletins, recalls, and product updates.

  17. Safety & Compliance:

  18. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

  19. Ensure compliance with local environmental and health regulations when handling chemicals or hazardous materials.

  20. Equipment Maintenance:

  21. Maintain and calibrate workshop tools and equipment as necessary.

  22. Ensure that the workshop remains well-equipped with the right tools for diagnostic and repair work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical certification in automotive repair is highly preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician or service technician, preferably with Nissan or similar automotive brands.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
