TOUR GUIDE (Permanent / Part-Time)

We are urgently hiring Permanent and Part-Time Tour Guides to join our growing team

Job Summary:

The Tour Guide is responsible for leading groups of tourists on engaging and informative tours, offering insights into historical sites, cultural landmarks, and local attractions.

The role requires delivering well-prepared presentations, ensuring guest safety, and creating memorable experiences that are both educational and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

-Plan, organize, and conduct guided tours for individuals or groups.

-Provide accurate, well-researched, and engaging commentary about sites, culture, and history.

-Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests during tours.

-Answer visitor questions and provide recommendations for local activities, dining, and shopping.

-Manage group dynamics, ensuring tours run smoothly and on schedule.

-Handle unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and professionally.

-Promote respect for cultural and natural sites visited.

Qualifications:

-At least High School Graduate or College Level.

-With pleasing personality, possessing a strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Fluency in English is a must and able to speak Nihonggo, Mandarin, Cantonese, Wu, Hakka, Min, Hokkien, Gan, or Xiang is a strong advantage.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Willing to facilitate tours in Cebu and Bohol.

-Open to early morning shifts and shifting schedules (including night shifts)

-Willing to render overtime / extended hours if needed.

-Familiar with domestic travel destinations.

-Knowledgeable of latest tourism trends, having an in-depth knowledge of local history, culture, and attractions.

-Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented personality.

-Ability to handle groups of various sizes with professionalism.

-First aid training or certification (preferred).

-Can start immediately.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities

-Conduct engaging tours for Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese guests

-Provide accurate and informative details about destinations

-Escort groups while ensuring safety, comfort, and enjoyment.

-Handle airport pick-ups and drop-offs.

-Assist and attend to guest needs throughout the tour.

-Prepare and maintain tour equipment and itineraries.

-Maintain a positive and calm attitude during tours.

Work Location: Cebu and Bohol

Schedule: Flexible shifts (morning, night, extended hours as needed)

Pay: Php13, Php20,000.00 per month
