Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops new and modified products according to client requirements.

  • Conducts testing and evaluation of new and alternative raw materials and suppliers as well as incoming shipments.

  • Formulates recipes and conducts initial laboratory scale trials.

  • Performs analysis and testing of products related to quality complaints and verification of quality conformance.

  • Assists plant affiliates in quality control testing of finished goods for shipment.

  • Creates and revises work instructions and procedures according to current practices.

  • Develops a prototype and document process of the experiment through photograph/video.

  • Documents the design and product development procedure.

  • Establishes and updates technical specifications and other documents related to product.

  • Updates laboratory monitoring records and inventories.

  • Conducts equipment verification and maintains laboratory upkeep.

  • Conducts complete laboratory test analysis and suitable product application of new sample/raw material

  • Prepares and conducts technical presentations to clients and represents the company during exhibits, symposiums, etc.

  • Provides technical knowledge and assistance during new client/supplier meetings.

  • Executes exploration on new functional ingredients (with Sales initiative) that has a high market potential.

  • Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, and Chemical Engineering.

  • At least two (2) years work experience in research and development preferably in a food industry. Fresh graduates are open to apply.

  • With innovative and creative learning.

  • With good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Computer literate (MS Office Applications).

  • Can work with minimum supervision.

  • Highly organized and with excellent attention to details.
