Job Objective

To lead the design and planning efforts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Oversee architectural design from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, quality standards, local building codes, and project timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design and Project Leadership

  • Lead the architectural design process for all assigned projects, translating the company's vision and market requirements into buildable designs.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural plans, design development, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Manage, coordinate, and direct external architectural consultants, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality deliverables.

2. Regulatory Compliance and Permits

  • Ensure all designs rigorously comply with the Philippine Building Code (PD 1096), local zoning ordinances, fire codes, and other relevant environmental and accessibility laws.
  • Act as a primary technical signatory and representative in securing necessary architectural permits and clearances from local government units (LGUs) and other regulatory bodies.

3. Construction Support and Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management and Construction teams to address design issues, submittals, and material samples during the construction phase.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead Value Engineering initiatives without compromising design integrity or functionality.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Present design concepts, progress updates, and technical solutions to the Executive team, investors, and joint venture partners.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned or delegated from time to time.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Duly registered and licensed architect by the Professional Regulation Commission.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or managerial role, preferably with a real estate developer or a firm specializing in high-rise, mixed-use, or mass housing projects.

Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination with contractors, consultants, and LGUs.
  • Proficient in software such as Revit and traditional CAD software like AutoCAD. Business Understanding
  • Relevant Regulations and Compliance Requirements, especially the National Building Code of the Philippines, the Fire Code, and the Accessibility Law (BP 344).

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: P40,000 – P80,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • One week base off every 3 months with free round trip plane tickets
  • Free accommodation in Roxas City
  • Other benefits as per company policy.
