We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling, emotionally engaging videos that align with VIP Ignite's brand tone and storytelling style. This role requires both technical expertise and creative insight, working closely with the marketing and event teams to deliver high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities

Short-Form Social Editing

  • Edit 15–60 second clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels
  • Add captions, sound, and graphics that reflect the brand's tone and energy

Long-Form Event & Training Footage

  • Produce highlight reels and training recaps from Bootcamps, speaker sessions, and live events

Content Repurposing

  • Review previous talks, interviews, and testimonials to extract impactful and shareable moments

Brand Consistency

  • Apply approved intro/outro animations, fonts, color grading, and lower-third templates across all videos

Storytelling & Structure

  • Edit videos to tell clear, authentic narratives (before → after → lesson learned)

Sound & Music Editing

  • Clean and balance audio, remove noise, and select royalty-free tracks that enhance tone

Subtitles & On-Screen Text

  • Create accurate, on-brand subtitles and captions for accessibility and engagement

Multi-Camera Syncing

  • Edit multi-angle interviews and event footage for seamless transitions

Thumbnails & Hooks

  • Design and export attention-grabbing thumbnails and first-frame hooks aligned with brand aesthetics

Platform Optimization

  • Export videos in the correct aspect ratios and specs for each platform (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)

Organization & File Management

  • Maintain a structured cloud folder system for raw footage, edits, and final exports

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the Writer and Social Media Team to ensure video content aligns with ongoing campaigns

Event Sizzle Reels & Testimonials

  • Create cinematic highlight videos and transformation stories for promotions and alumni showcases

Quality Control

  • Review every export for technical accuracy, including sound, color, and caption formatting

Weekly / As-Needed Tasks

  • Organize and label b-roll libraries for future campaigns
  • Support live-stream set-ups or recordings as needed
  • Experiment with new motion-graphic styles while maintaining brand consistency

Experience and Proficiency

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects preferred)
  • Experience using Canva, MetroCool, Descript, and Captions is a strong plus
  • Strong storytelling, pacing, and design consistency skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
