As we expand our presence online, especially on YouTube and social media, we're building a more sophisticated content engine — and we're looking for a skilled video editor to help bring this content to life.

The Role

We're hiring a Video Editor & Content Production Specialist to support our YouTube and social media content strategy.

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Has experience editing both long-form YouTube videos and short-form vertical content
• Understands how to create engaging, polished content that performs well
• Wants to be part of a mission-driven brand that teaches powerful life-changing skills

You'll work directly with our team and our YouTube growth partners to produce educational and promotional content that reflects Tao of Trading's brand, values, and message.

Responsibilities

• Edit 4+ long-form YouTube videos per month (typically educational, 10–20 minutes each)
• Edit 20+ short-form clips per month for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Add high-quality visuals, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and audio where needed
• Ensure content follows brand guidelines and engages our core audience
• Collaborate with our internal team to align on messaging and timing
• Stay up-to-date with YouTube and social trends to help content remain fresh and competitive
• Follow existing SOPs and frameworks to streamline workflow

Requirements

· A Bachelor's degree

• 2+ years of video editing experience (YouTube or online education space preferred)
• Extremely strong command in English
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software
• Strong sense of storytelling, visual pacing, and retention editing
• Experience editing both long-form and short-form content for social platforms
• Ability to deliver consistently on time and to a high standard
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with great attention to detail
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have (but not required)

• Familiarity with the finance, investing, or trading space
• Basic motion graphics or thumbnail design skills
• Experience working with thought leaders, coaches, or course creators
• Understanding of YouTube content strategy or digital marketing funnels
