We are looking for an
Assistant Manager
to take on responsibilities in
Project Accounting Operations, General Accounting, or Disbursement Accounting
, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
Project Accounting
- Supervise the monitoring and recording of project-related costs, billings, and collections.
- Ensure proper allocation of project expenses in accordance with contracts and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers and relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and support decision-making.
- Analyze project financial performance, including cost variances and profitability.
- Prepare and review project-related reports for management.
General Accounting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and validate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Disbursement Accounting
- Oversee daily disbursement operations, including payment processing and reconciliations.
- Manage and lead the disbursement team, ensuring high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth cash flow.
- Review and approve disbursement transactions and journal entries.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS in Accounting; CPA license preferred/required
- At least 3 years of experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting process, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting systems;
SAP experience is an advantage
