We are looking for an
Assistant Manager
to take on responsibilities in
Project Accounting Operations, General Accounting, or Disbursement Accounting
, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

Project Accounting

  • Supervise the monitoring and recording of project-related costs, billings, and collections.
  • Ensure proper allocation of project expenses in accordance with contracts and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project managers and relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and support decision-making.
  • Analyze project financial performance, including cost variances and profitability.
  • Prepare and review project-related reports for management.

General Accounting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and validate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.

Disbursement Accounting

  • Oversee daily disbursement operations, including payment processing and reconciliations.
  • Manage and lead the disbursement team, ensuring high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth cash flow.
  • Review and approve disbursement transactions and journal entries.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS in Accounting; CPA license preferred/required
  • At least 3 years of experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting process, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems;
    SAP experience is an advantage
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
