About the role

This is a full-time Credit & Collection Supervisor role at Fleximetal Inc. based in Taytay Rizal. As the Credit & Collection Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit and collections processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and improving the company's cash flow management.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement effective credit and collections strategies to minimize bad debts and maximize cash flow
  • Monitor and analyze customer accounts, identifying high-risk clients and taking appropriate actions
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve delinquent accounts
  • Manage and motivate the collections team, setting performance targets and providing guidance and training
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance departments to ensure a seamless credit and collections process
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the company's credit and collections performance
  • Identify process improvements and implement policies to enhance the efficiency of the credit and collections function

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit management or collections, preferably in the steel industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and develop effective strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of credit management software and data analysis tools
  • Thorough understanding of credit policies, collections procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of credit and collections professionals
