Our top priority: grow the Growth Island Podcast on YouTube and amplify across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Mission of the Role

Help us grow our YouTube presence end-to-end.

You'll edit long-form podcast episodes, cut high-retention clips for Shorts/Reels, design simple but strong thumbnails, and help us analyze what works — using AI tools to work smarter and faster.

What You'll Do

  • Edit 1–2 long-form episodes/week and 8–16 Shorts/Reels.
  • Ensure tight pacing, clear dialogue, strong hooks, and clean skin tones.
  • Design thumbnails and social covers in Canva that grab attention.
  • Write YouTube titles, descriptions, and tags, and publish uploads.
  • Monitor basic analytics (CTR, retention) to improve each week.
  • Repurpose clips for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Work AI-first with Descript, Opus, and Canva, improving efficiency.
  • 1–2 short calls per week overlapping with CET/CEST.

Your Profile

  • You've edited YouTube videos or social-media clips before (portfolio or examples welcome).
  • You're comfortable with Canva and know what makes a good thumbnail.
  • You have strong attention to detail and clean editing habits.
  • You're coachable, fast to iterate, and open to feedback.
  • You're curious about YouTube growth, storytelling, and analytics.
  • You use or want to learn AI tools (Descript, Opus, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Stable internet and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Editing in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, or CapCut.
  • Basic knowledge of Kajabi or YouTube SEO.
  • Past experience running Instagram Reels or TikTok for a brand.
