JOB SUMMARY:
The Process Specialist plays a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, quality, and performance across the organization. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
These essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:
- Analyzed, documented, and optimized end-to-end business processes across multiple departments to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic goals.
- Collaborated with department heads to identify process gaps, recommend solutions, and implement best practices aligned with organizational standards.
- Developed and maintained comprehensive process manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and flowcharts to ensure process consistency and compliance.
- Supported internal and external audits by providing process documentation, compliance reports, and corrective action plans when necessary.
- Led process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies, resulting in measurable performance enhancements.
OTHER TASKS:
As part of the ISMS CORE team, his/her responsibilities and authorities are the following:
- Identification of critical processes in the department that impacts information security
- Identification of issues, challenge, risks in the department & processes
- Creating process documentation covering SOPs, policies, form/template etc. as required
- Completing risk assessment and identification of risk treatment options /controls in consultation with the appointed ISMS Manager
- Maintaining master repository of document and records
- Ensuring implementation and compliance with all the processes as per documented system are requirements of the ISO standard
- Identification and resolution of non-conformities in the processes
- Participating in the internal audits conducted by the organization
- Ensuring prompt and effective actions against internal audit/certification audit findings
- Ensuring continual improvement of the information security management system in the department.
- Investigate information security-related procedures and controls in order to assess their suitability and effectiveness
- Report finding to relevant management
- He/she is working closely with the appointed Information Security Manager (ISM)/DPO
