We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to support audit engagements, risk assessment, and compliance review. The role involves preparing audit working papers, conducting tests, evaluating internal controls, and recommending improvements to strengthen processes. Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field
  • Preferably with at least six (6) months of work experience in internal auditing or a related field
  • Knowledgeable in internal audit standards, risk management, and data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Amenable to work at the Head Office in Bangkal, Makati City

Duties and Responsibilities:

Audit Engagement Accomplishment

  • Identifies risks or weaknesses within business processes under review
  • Prepares audit working papers and gathers reports, documents, and relevant data
  • Conducts opening meetings and performs control tests, substantive tests, or site inspections
  • Evaluates internal controls for adequacy, effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Documents audit findings, ensuring observations are properly recorded and organized
  • Recommends appropriate controls to mitigate risks identified
  • Summarizes audit findings and discusses recommendations with auditees
  • Prepares and files the Final Audit Report with supporting documents

Audit Findings Monitoring

  • Encodes audit findings into the system and reviews responses from auditees
  • Follows up weekly on unresolved audit findings until properly closed

Business Process Improvement

  • Prepares endorsements or improvement tickets for relevant departments
  • Endorses employees with major non-compliance, gross negligence, or integrity issues to Human Resources – Employee Relations
  • Participates in the development and updates of internal audit programs, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Learning and Growth

  • Completes assigned internal and external training programs
  • Participates in department programs, ad hoc committees, and other activities as required
