We are seeking a highly motivated Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and ensuring compliance with both vendor and internal policies. You will also be directly handling claim issues and maintaining strong communication with customers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Process Warranty Claims: Ensure accurate and timely processing of all warranty claims in accordance with internal and external policies.
- Claim Initiation: Gather all necessary information for claim submissions and communicate procedures clearly to stores and teams.
- Handle Complex Claims: Address complex claims directly and follow up with remanufacturers for status updates.
- Ensure Vendor Compliance: Review and apply vendor warranty procedures to ensure all claims meet the required standards.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and related documentation.
- Track and Process Payments: Track defects, follow up on pending claims, and ensure timely processing of labor payments.
- Customer & Vendor Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams, customers, and external vendors.
- Audit Compliance: Perform audits on warranty claims to ensure compliance with company policies and vendor standards.
- Additional Duties: Assist with clerical tasks as required by Sales and Warranty Managers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a call center environment.
- Warranty Claims Experience: Experience in warranty claims administration or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of automotive parts or technical backgrounds is preferred.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Industry Experience: Experience working with U.S.-based companies is an advantage. Background in automotive insurance or warranty handling is a plus.
