Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the school nurses
  • Provides health assessments-assist with physical examination conducted in the school.
  • Helps in developing and implementing health plan-interprets the health status of students, initiates referrals to parents, school personnel and community health resources for intervention, remediation or follow through, provides ongoing health information to students, parents and health agencies.
  • Maintains, evaluates and interprets cumulative health data to accommodate individual needs of students.
  • Plans and implements school health management protocols for the students, including the administration of medicines.
  • Conducts home visits to students and school personnel with illness.
  • Helps in developing procedures and provides for crisis intervention for acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection and reporting contagious diseases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php25,439.04 per month
