Responsibilities:

  • Researching and gathering information from reliable sources to develop well-researched news articles
  • Writing engaging, informative, and error-free news content tailored for a US audience
  • Proofreading and editing content to ensure the highest quality and accuracy
  • Collaborating with the editorial team to refine and improve the content
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest news trends and developments
  • Meeting tight deadlines and delivering content on schedule

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates with Excellent writing and proofreading skills in English, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation are welcome to apply
  • Preferably with 1 year of Content Writer/Proofreading/Editor experience
  • Exposure and knowledge with US news, writing news articles or content for a US-based audience are preferred but not required
  • Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, error-free content
  • Familiarity with the US news and media landscape
  • Adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Must be willing to work onsite on a shifting in BGC, Taguig

Nice to have:

  • Proofreading
  • Interest with journalism and US politics
  • Fact-checking and misinformation
