HR Specialist

The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee engagement, training coordination, and HR operations. This role ensures that employees feel supported, motivated, and aligned with the organization's culture and goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
· Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles
· Coordinate job postings, screening, interviews, and job offers
· Maintain candidate pipelines and talent databases
· Facilitate structured onboarding and orientation programs
· Ensure a positive and professional candidate and new-hire experience
2. Employee Engagement & Culture
· Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
· Assist in organizing team activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives
· Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and basic HR inquiries
· Help foster a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace
3. Training & Development
· Coordinate internal and external training programs
· Track employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
· Assist in identifying training needs in partnership with managers
· Support performance management and development planning
4. HR Operations & Compliance
· Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
· Support payroll inputs, leave administration, and attendance tracking
· Assist with HR policies, procedures, and handbook updates
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
5. HR Reporting & Improvement
· Prepare basic HR reports (headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics)
· Support HR process improvements and system enhancements
· Assist in audits and internal HR reviews
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
· 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or people operations
Skills & Competencies
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· High level of confidentiality and professionalism
· Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
· Ability to work with diverse teams and personalities
· Familiarity with Philippine labor laws (preferred)
· Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace; HR systems experience is a plus
