Qoves is a fast-growing AI startup at the intersection of aesthetics and technology. We're looking for a top-tier accountant to take full control of our financials and grow into a CFO role. This is not for beginners — we want someone proven in high-level environments (Big 4 or equivalent) who can handle both day-to-day accounting and big-picture financial strategy.

What you'll own:

1. Financial Model & Metrics

  • Build and maintain financial models (cash flow, runway, growth projections)
  • Track burn rate, revenue, margins, CAC/LTV, and other key metrics
  • Ensure the company always has cash to operate and scale

2. Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Work with the CEO on raising seed, Series A, and growth rounds
  • Prepare pitch-deck numbers and handle investor due diligence
  • Manage cap table, equity splits, stock options, SAFEs/convertible notes

3. Strategic Planning

  • Pressure-test the CEO's vision against financial reality
  • Advise on expansion, hiring, and cost discipline
  • Balance aggressive growth with long-term profitability

4. Accounting & Compliance

  • Oversee bookkeeping, audits, tax filings, payroll, and employee stock plans
  • Implement rigorous financial controls to avoid future issues

5. Operations & Risk

  • Assist in structuring contracts, supplier agreements, international expansion, and legal entities
  • Anticipate risks like currency exposure, regulatory changes, and credit issues

What we're looking for:

  • Big 4 (PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY) or equivalent background
  • Extremely rigorous, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator who can work directly with the CEO and board
  • Hungry to grow into a CFO role in a high-growth company
