Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the upkeeping of the financial books in accordance with accepted accounting principles and standards.
  2. Ensures the integrity of the accounting records of eleven (11) leasing companies – including maintaining the chart of accounts, reviewing general ledger activities, and timely recording of revenue and expenses.
  3. Prepare monthly Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, and other financial reports, per company and consolidated level, including support and analysis.
  4. Prepare/review monthly bank reconciliation, adjusting, and journal entries prepared by the associate.
  5. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  6. Ensures accurate and timely recording of transactions in the system.
  7. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  8. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work closely with the auditors to ensure the completion of the timely audit.
  9. Coordinates with other business functions to provide the required financial support

Qualifications:

  1. With Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferably a CPA but not required
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  3. Ability to meet deadlines
  4. Attention to details
  5. Office based – Mandaluyong
