SUMMARY:

The Labor Lawyer performs the general duties of an experienced labor and employment attorney by handling employment litigation and other labor/employment matters and advising the Management on legal issues involving employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have a law degree from a recognized university and passed the bar exam.

2. At least 3 years' experience in labor law and litigation.

2. Excellent organizational skills and has the ability to multitask

3. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

6. Analytical ability and strong attention to detail

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Handle employment litigation independently or largely independently handle litigation and other matters;

2. Prepare legal briefs and other pleadings;

3. Handle various aspects of employment related litigation, such as motion hearings, mediations, and depositions;

4. Determine litigation strategy;

5. Respond to NLRC, SENA and DOLE charges;

6. Prepare trial material and handle or assist at pretrial, trial, and post trial proceedings.

7. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate superior and/or Management.
