Key Task Responsibilities

Technical

· Attend and preside IBG Weekly Meeting

· Attend and present reports in the monthly Production Meeting

· Oversee performance and help farm managers achieve target performance and job objectives

· Coordinate and provide feedback to other departments (AHG, OES, Purchasing, Feed mill, Dressing Plant, Contract Grower and Hatchery)

· Regularly conduct farm visit and report updates

· Must ensure Farms/Sections follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements

· Provide direction and technical expertise in design, process improvement and development, data analysis, information/monitoring and ventilation parameters and adjustments

· Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems

· Identify resource and equipment requirements

· Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members

· Responsible for providing technical information

Management

· Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place

· Task allocation and performance evaluation of team members

· Project scheduling and resource management

· Perform other duties or functions that will be assigned by the superior.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of Animal Science/husbandry, Agricultural engineering or related course

· Computer literate

· Demonstrates quality leadership

· Flexible

· Self motivated

· At least 5-10 years practical experience in the poultry industry as Farm Head or Manager
