Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Draftsman with a strong eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship to join our design and production team. This role is essential in transforming creative concepts into precise technical drawings that guide our artisans in bringing exceptional furniture and lighting pieces to life. The ideal candidate is meticulous, technically skilled, and appreciates both traditional craftsmanship and innovative design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and 3D models for furniture, lighting, and interior objects based on design concepts.
  • Work closely with designers, artisans, and production teams to ensure drawings are feasible for fabrication and aligned with the company's aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Translate sketches and design ideas into detailed shop drawings and material specifications.
  • Review and revise technical drawings as needed to address production feedback or design changes.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for efficient reference and archiving.
  • Ensure all designs meet structural integrity, ergonomic standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Support product development by contributing technical insight during the design process.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical draftsman, preferably in furniture, interiors, or product design.
  • Proficiency in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate concepts into precise technical information.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers and artisans.
  • Passion for craftsmanship, design, and sustainable practices.
  • Must be a Team Player and good follower
  • Must be able to share and teach trade/work related knowledge
  • Knowledgeable using Sketch-up and Fusion
  • Willing to relocate

Preferred

  • Experience in woodworking or furniture production.
  • Familiarity with traditional and contemporary fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering software.

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
