Responsibilities Create detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by architects and engineers. Utilize CAD software to design layouts, detailed plans, and production instructions. Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints. Update and revise designs according to feedback from project managers and clients. Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant regulations and quality standards. Maintain organized records of designs, modifications, and project documentation. Participate in project meetings to discuss design changes and updates. Prepare layouts in accordance with cost estimations and project timelines. Assist in developing new design methodologies and techniques to improve efficiency. Review projects for accuracy and completeness before submission or implementation. Liaise with manufacturing teams to resolve any design-related issues during production. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in design tools and technology. Requirements Associate's degree or certification in CAD technology, drafting, or a related field. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drafting standards and techniques. Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into detailed drawings. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work. Good communication skills necessary for collaboration with team members and clients. Experience in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
