Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains test plans, coordinates testing activities, and ensures alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Leads the execution of various test types (functional, performance, UAT, etc.) and ensures proper documentation of test results and defects.
  • Tracks and manages defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely closure.
  • Assures the quality of delivered applications and their compliance with functional and technical requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with project managers, business stakeholders, and development teams.
  • May be involved in developing and implementing test automation frameworks and leveraging testing tools.
  • May also be involved in performance testing of applications.
  • Leads and manages a team of testers, providing guidance and support.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve testing processes and implements continuous improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Test Manager
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test types, and tools.
  • Proficiency in test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with defect tracking and management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the financial industry or banking domain is often preferred.
