Business Development Representative / Appointment Setter

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new sales leads, set qualified appointments, and expand our client base. This role is critical in developing new business accounts for a Fractional Sales Company, offering a range of innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Prospect into the assigned territory or lead lists to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Schedule discovery calls and sales appointments for Account Executives.
  • Place outbound calls, send emails, and engage in chat outreach to generate leads.

Appointment Setting

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls and messages to book qualified appointments.
  • Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on all appointments to minimize no-shows.
  • Pre-qualify leads using structured discovery questions to ensure fit before handoff.
  • Maintain a daily/weekly appointment-setting quota aligned with team targets.

CRM & Process Management

  • Utilize HubSpot to accurately document all interactions, leads, and opportunity stages.
  • Maintain precise records of lead generation activities, appointments booked, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.
  • Contribute feedback to improve tools, processes, and workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to align messaging and campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or appointment setting (B2B preferred).
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding appointment-setting and call quotas.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, and handling objections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRMs is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Must commit to a Pacific Standard Time (PST) schedule.
  • Must use Time Doctor for time tracking.
  • Submission of a valid NBI clearance upon onboarding (background checks required).
