About the Role

We are hiring 4 Business Development Representatives to join our growing solar energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound calling to homeowners, educating them on the benefits of switching from traditional electricity to solar power, and setting appointments for sales consultations.

The ideal candidate has strong persuasive communication skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to build rapport with potential customers. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-growing industry while earning competitive pay with commission incentives

Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound Calling & Lead Generation:
    • Contact homeowners via phone to introduce the benefits of switching to solar energy.
    • Identify interested prospects and set up sales appointments for the solar consultation team.
    • Follow up with potential customers who have expressed interest but haven't scheduled yet.
  • Customer Education & Persuasion:
    • Clearly explain cost savings, tax benefits, and environmental advantages of solar power.
    • Address common objections and concerns in a confident, knowledgeable manner.
    • Build trust and develop relationships with homeowners to encourage solar adoption.
  • CRM & Data Management:
    • Log all call details, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
    • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Prior experience in sales, cold calling, telemarketing, or business development preferred.
    • Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to overcome objections.
    • Ability to explain technical information in a simple, clear way.
    • Experience using CRM software is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
    • Confident, enthusiastic, and comfortable making outbound calls.
    • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is a plus
