What You'll Do

As a Guidance Counselor, you will support students in their academic journey by providing counseling services, career guidance, and personal development programs. You will help students realize their strengths, foster self-esteem, and equip them with the skills needed for future success.

  • Student Support & Counseling

    • Develop and implement counseling programs using modern teaching and mentoring techniques.

    • Conduct group or individual counseling sessions to address student concerns.

    • Identify behavioral issues or at-risk students and take appropriate action.

    • Assess student skills, interests, and attributes to help them maximize their potential.

  • Collaboration & Coordination

    • Work closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student growth.

    • Encourage student engagement and foster an inclusive school culture.

    • Pay attention to cultural or societal differences when addressing student needs.

  • Evaluation & Records Management

    • Complete assessments, analyze results, and provide feedback.

    • Track student progress and reinforce their sense of accomplishment.

    • Maintain and update student records for academic and personal development.

What You'll Need

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Guidance Counselor or equivalent.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse student backgrounds.

  • Knowledge of counseling practices, teaching models, and education regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

  • MA degree in School or Guidance Counseling (Guidance Counseling credentials required).

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology is an advantage.
