Responsible for reviewing and validating final Statements of Accounts (SOAs) for confined members under Intellicare and Avega, ensuring accuracy in hospital charges and alignment with diagnoses. Ensures all required documents are complete before endorsing to the Claims Processing Department. Accurately completes In-Patient Summary Forms and monitors SOA due dates to meet deadlines and secure hospital discounts. Coordinates with PROs that are assigned in the field on returned SOAs and provides assistance in facilities without assigned PROs, including coverage clarification, billing computation, and RCS 3 preparation. Assists PRO Team Leaders with updates on admissions and maintains daily in-patient tagging for ALOS monitoring. Also acts as reliever for PROs on leave when needed.
