About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day general ledger activities - including cash management, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll, account reconciliations, and allocations - as well as potentially contributing to key functions within accounts payable operations. This position offers exposure to both GL and AP processes and requires effective collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post cash-related journal entries, ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations

  • Process prepaid expenses and maintain amortization schedules

  • Maintain the fixed asset register and associated supporting schedules

  • Assist with the GL month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparing journal entries for allocations, accrued expenses, and investments

  • Support the review of payroll and payroll-related benefits

  • Assist with intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing journal entries and related payment processing

  • Help prepare monthly intercompany account reconciliations

  • Potentially responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices on a daily basis

  • May be required to manage timely correspondence with external vendors and internal parties

  • Could involve supporting the AP month-end close process (AP and T&E accruals)

  • May also be responsible for vendor management, including vendor setup

  • Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects to support Accounting department

Qualifications

  • A degree in accounting or a related field

  • 7+ years of relevant general ledger (GL) accounting experience

  • Experience with U.S. GAAP

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience (a plus)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to manage deadlines to accommodate weekly and monthly processes
